WHAT DOES THIS WORKSHOP OFFER?
A hands on guidance to learn a quick and efficient workflow of a newborn photoshoot session.
Mentoring by Preethi Sriram, a recognised and renowned award winning and Internationally certified Newborn Photographer and a member of the 'International Newborn Photography Assosciation' and 'Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International'.

WHAT DOES THE WORKSHOP INCLUDE?
This workshop focusses on a quick and efficient workflow for a newborn photoshoot session.
Learn about wrapping, posing babies in props and on bean bag.
Getting your lighting and angles right in your camera.
A good understanding on:
Preparing for the session - planning the workflow, studio space and preparing the client for the photoshoot.
Handling Babies - when is a good time to photograph them, techniques used to calm babies and keep them happy during the session. Safety poses and posing them on bean bags and props.
Props and Set ups - Selecting the right props and creating set ups. How to place baby in each type of prop with live demonstration. Choosing the right colours based on skin tones.
Wrapping Techniques - live demonstration on how to wrap baby in different styles to enhance creativity in your photographs.
Camera Gears and Controls - cameras settings, right lenses to use, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, focussing and much more.
Composing the shot and getting it right in the camera.
Lighting techniques - studio lights and available natural light.
Image Review and Editing - A demonstration of the editing process with a few images shot during the live session.
(This is not a Photoshop tutorial, and will only showcase my way of the editing workflow for a session).
All this and more on a newborn live session!

This workshop aims at understanding the basics of newborn photography and the techniques involved to create those eye catching portrait images of babies. Hence it is aimed at Beginners who want to pursue photography in the baby genre and Experienced photographers who are looking for inspiration, motivation and new ideas too.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO ENROL FOR THIS WORKSHOP?

A DSLR/Mirrorless camera with a good understanding of how it functions. Should be comfortable to use the camera in manual mode. A basic knowledge of focus, aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings.

Lenses - Preferably a 35mm or 50mm or 24-70mm lens. Incase you don’t have either of these, you can bring along your kit lens or rent them for the workshop.
